Day 03

- My family. A post about my family.

I am so blessed to be a member of my most favorite family in the world. I am the second oldest child in the Conley family. We currently reside in our favorite place so far, Dallas, Texas. My beautiful family is filled with the most amazing people. I love each and every one all in an unconditional, but different way. I would do anything for them and know they would do the same for me. We have a different kind of love than 'normal' families. We have been through some setbacks as a family that have only taught us to be as one. We get really loud, funny, and 'unmannerly' when we're all in the same room. Things can get a little out of hand if some rap music is thrown on, as well as a game of scattagories. Not an hour goes by that one of us isn't belting a tune, AJ hums. Rarely is there a fight between two of us now that Paige has moved out (HAha) . We support each other like no other and have each other's backs if one is messed with. We are originally from Cincinnatti, Ohio but have moved 3 places since. These moves encouraged us to enjoy each others company. We have been taught and learned that family is first, because they will be forever & always, unlike most others we have come across in our lives.

My daddy Dan & moma Julie were both raised in Ohio; They met and started dating when they were only 16 years old. They were the top-notch couple back in the day, i've concluded from looking at pictures of my platinum blonde father in his 76' Camaro and my cheerleading, bronzed sun-bathing beauty of a mother in her velour booty shorts. My mother was not a member of the LDS church, like my dad had been raised in. He made a promise to himself that he would only marry inside the church because of differences that occurred when he was growing up with his parents. He knew that my mom was his dream girl and he couldn't let a dime like her go. My dad baptised my mom in the church when they were 18 and they were married 3 years later. My dad's job transferred us to a few states before Texas and 5 children were born along the way.

My sister, Paige, whom is serving a mission in Chile is a 22 year old gorgeous, smart-blonde bombshell. She is pretty much close to perfect in all ways. Paige is the outgoing & class clown of the family. We are connected at the heart, I feel her pain, prayers,thoughts, & smiles when we are separated. She is my best friend for.ever. I am the next, Brit, 20 years old. I have my Associates degree in Sociology and will be applying for BYU-Hawaii to graduate with a Bachelors in Social Work. I work as a hostess at a Pizza & Wine restaurant. I am currently at a fork in the road and do not know what to do with my la la land life, so I blog instead. Three brothers were born after me. Hunter 16, AJ 13, & the one everyone knows, Chandler who is 6. Hunter just got his drivers license and thinks he is the hottest thing in town because of his F-150 he likes to call 'black-beauty'. He is a good looking stud who thinks it's funny to call himself "H-Con" because people called me BCon in high school. He plays football and sits the bench in basketball. hahah sorry I had to. Hunter is a hard worker whose day seems to never end. He & I are very close and like to laugh, shop, and make fun of each other. AJ is the precious one of the bunch. He is the sweetest little soul known to man. He is an extremely good basketball player. He is covered in freckles and could be the face on a cereal box. Whenever family discussion time happens not one request or complaint is made of him. He will do any service you ask of him. You can't not like AJ. Chandler is everyone's favorite. He is a child living in an adults world. He is in 1st grade and is a member of the gifted and talented program. That is one trait he does not take after from his siblings. He is adorable, hilarious, and at times can hold a conversation better than I do. He is nothing like the rest of us in the athletic department but rather enjoys science experiments, solving math equations, and a lot of t-e-l-e-v-i-s-i-o-n/computer/x-box, he likes to call educational time. There will be 5 happy, lucky, & stunning spouses added to our Conley family one day from these angel siblings, whom I am fortunate enough to call family. I love my siblings more than life itself. I would drink their bath water (something I recently heard and enjoyed). I know I do not say it enough but I am so grateful for my family and all they do for me. They never cease to amaze me with their talents. Their love for their family and Heavenly Father feels personally at times, unattainable. I want to follow in each's footsteps and truly look up to them. I couldn't have picked a more impeccable family. We are the luckiest kids in the world to have the parents we do. God must have been so found of us to put us with them(;
